Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible to manage the employee Performance Management related area (Performance Management framework, Goal Setting, Year End Review cycles). In addition, the role is also required to manage the employee benefits related areas including PruEMPIRE, LTIP cycles and Employee Assistance Program.
- Draft and send out employee communication for KPI planning, mid-term review and year-end review.
- Involvement in yearly Division and Country calibration.
- Follow up submission of performance result, analyze or prepare reports for management action.
- Conduct training, briefing and roadshow to create awareness on performance management and system enhancements.
- Liaise with other HR departments for staff performance improvement initiatives.

Monthly payroll processing:
- Processing payroll related matters on a monthly basis.
- Ensure accuracy in salary calculations, statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) and other withholdings.
- Maintain and update payroll record including new hire, termination and changes in compensation.
- Coordinate with finance for payroll funding and disbursement.
- Assist with renewal and appointment of payroll vendor.
- Check accuracy and amend discrepancies.

Market benchmarking on New Ways of Working (NWOW) and Employee Benefits review & benchmarking:
- Collate data, prepare benefits review and benchmarking.
- Suggest benefits improvement for PruBSN.
- Extract market reports and analyze data for recommendation/implementation.
- Draft recommendations for management approval.
- Co‑own new initiatives / implementation of newly introduced policies and benefit items.

Benefits administration:
- Medical Administration & Takaful Coverage
- Assist in updating inclusion of coverage for new hire and dependents inclusive of alteration and deletion on a periodic basis.
- Process monthly invoices for medical expenses.
- Administer end‑to‑end outpatient medical reimbursement form submission to PMCare until full/complete reimbursement.
- Parking Administration & Attendance System
- Assist on parking allocation in TRX for SM and above.
- Prepare attendance records as requested from various departments for disciplinary cases or overtime calculation.
- Local Scheme Coordinator (LSC) of PruEmpire
- Update the TDE fund price in Shareworks and PruEmpire website daily and the staff TDE purchased units in Shareworks.
- Prepare monthly deduction & contribution report to HR payroll personnel and Finance respectively for salary deduction and purchase of TDE fund.
- Provide support to staff on enrolment, change of contribution and withdrawal etc.
- myHR Leave administration
- Assist employees on queries on leave in myHR and grant special leave in myHR such as replacement leave, study leave etc.
- Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)
- Person in charge on LTIP matters.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Person in charge on all EAP matters.

myHR process improvement and automation:
- Participate in any improvement to the process and system related to performance management.
- Ensure all myHR initiatives are completed within deadline.
Role Qualification and Experience
- Minimum bachelor's degree in any field.
- 5 to 6 years related experience.
- Experience in a financial institution is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills especially PowerPoint.
- Experience and willingness to handle Benefits administration.
