Qualifications

We are now looking for a Demand Planning Manager, APAC. This position will be located in APAC preferably in China or Malaysia.

What You Will Do
  • Data Analysis: Gather and analyze historical sales, market trends, and customer forecasts to create accurate demand plans
  • Forecasting: Develop statistical forecasts, incorporating sales and marketing insights; challenge inputs to ensure realism and consensus
  • S&OP Facilitation: Coordinate regional S&OP meetings (market offer, sales planning, sales review, regional S&OP); ensure alignment on unconstrained demand forecasts and mitigation plans
  • Strategic Planning: Review market trends, product launches, and phase‑outs; manage risk scenarios and escalation processes
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Market, Operations, Regional SC, and Finance to ensure integrated planning
  • Performance Management: Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy and responsiveness
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential demand variations (spikes, seasonality etc.) and work proactively with other teams like Regional SC
  • Continuous Improvement: Refine demand planning processes for better accuracy and responsiveness
Who You Are
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and apply statistical models for forecasting
  • Communication & Influencing: Excellent interpersonal skills to manage consensus across multiple stakeholders and regions
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with demand planning tools, ERP & APS systems, and advanced Excel and reporting platform like Power BI
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of supply chain dynamics, market behavior, and cost‑to‑serve principles
  • Problem‑Solving & Adaptability: Ability to address forecast inaccuracies and adapt plans quickly in changing environments
  • Language: Fluent English
  • Education and experience: 5+ years in demand planning or supply chain roles, with exposure to S&OP processes. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics & Predictive Analytics, APICS or similar supply chain certifications will be an advantage
