Database Administrator (Fresh Grads are Welcome)

We are looking for experienced database support engineers to join our client's Global Support team and deliver efficient, professional technical support to their customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ticket Management & SLA Assurance: Receive, triage, and respond to technical‑support tickets submitted by customers; ensure every ticket is answered within the prescribed time frame and coordinate internal resources to drive issues to full resolution.
• Root Cause Analysis & Work‑arounds: Rapidly assess severity and urgency, provide temporary work‑arounds to minimize impact on the customer’s business, and help the customer stop loss as fast as possible.
• Customer Communication & Support: Maintain efficient communication with customers via phone, e‑mail, and live chat; work well in an interrupt‑driven environment, multitask, manage pressure, and pay careful attention to detail.
• Teamwork: Work independently and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.
• Knowledge‑Base Maintenance: Troubleshoot database related problems and update documentation accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant work experience are both acceptable.
• Knowledge or experience in Linux operating systems and databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
• Knowledge of networking.
• Fluent communication in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Fluent communication in Mandarin.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing, distributed systems, or big‑data technologies.
