About the Role

This role supports the development and execution of analytics strategies that align with AIA’s strategic goals and business growth.

• To support the Centre of Excellence for analytics solution strategy to enable AIA’s vision of promoting Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.

• To be part of the data science team to deliver analytical work that drives business growth, enhances customer experience, improves productivity, and optimizes efficiencies.

• To create valuable best practices that can be replicated in other markets.

• To produce best practice analytics solutions that support business decisions with measurable success, driving growth and effectiveness.

• To deliver the analytics workplan in collaboration with the Insights team and business users, ensuring timely and high-quality output that meets business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • To be part of the data science team in delivering analytical work that supports business execution, contributing to business growth, enhancing customer experience, improving productivity, and optimizing efficiencies.
  • To create valuable best practices that can be replicated across other markets.
  • To produce best practice analytics solutions that support business decisions with measurable success, driving growth and effectiveness.
  • To deliver the analytics workplan in collaboration with the Insights team and business users, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with business pace and priorities.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or Master\'s in any relevant field of study is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data science or related fields.
  • Expert in programming-based analytics, with experience in two or more languages such as SQL, R, or Python.
  • Proven experience in building statistical models, segmentations, and predictive or propensity models, including clustering, neural networks, scenario analysis, conceptual modelling, and hypothesis testing.
  • Good understanding of machine learning algorithm design principles and model management practices.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, and competitive environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, deductive reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Able to collaborate with other teams to drive positive outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Added bonus if the candidate has experience with Big Data platforms (especially unstructured data) and deep learning.
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive business outcomes.
