As a Data Entry Assistant/Executive at Leschaco (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate and organised data records for the company. This full‑time position is based in Klang, Selangor, and is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operations of a thriving logistics organisation.
Basic airfreight experience/knowledge is an added advantage
And immediate availability will be a plus
Responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining airfreight shipment data in the company’s systems for the cluster countries of Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.
Supports the Airfreight Operations team to ensure timely documentation, proper filing, and smooth coordination with internal teams, customers, and service providers.
Booking incoming invoices from vendors and outgoing invoices to customers.
Input shipment details into the system and maintain proper digital and physical filing of all documents.
Support the team in monitoring shipments, updating statuses, and ensuring timely documentation.
Ensure all documents meet compliance, customs, and company requirements.
Liaise with Customer Service, Operations, and Finance teams for any required shipment data or clarifications.
Ensure data accuracy to avoid billing issues, shipment delays, and documentation errors.
Follow company SOPs, QHSE policies, and airfreight compliance standards.
Communicate discrepancies or missing information to operations or supervisors promptly.
Provide administrative and logistical support to the operation team.
Any other tasks assigned by the superior.
Proven experience in a data entry or administrative support role.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numerical and alphabetical data.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Familiarity with data management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is preferred.
