We are looking for a Data Engineer to strengthen our Data & Analytics team in making our data driven ambitions a reality.

The Data Engineer is part of GBS Data & Analytics. This department works with providing financial, operational and management reporting and other analytics services and data products, to GBS and the WMS business divisions as well as analysis of this data. The Data Engineer will ensure that data from business systems are retrievable, accessible, and optimized for analysis, empowering organizations to make data-driven decisions. By transforming business needs into data-models, reports or data products, Data Engineers create scalable solutions that support advanced analytics and drive operational efficiency.

The role will report to the Manager Data & Analytics.

What you will work on:
  • Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining data-pipelines, data models (back-end) and front-end (Power BI reports)
  • Developing clean, well-documented code and automate data processes and workflows
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity through validation, testing, and auditing
  • Adhering to development standards, best practices, and data governance requirements, including proper documentation
  • Protecting data through effective security and access management
  • Collaborating with teammates and stakeholders, sharing knowledge and growing together
What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree within a relevant field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in English, written and verbal with great communication skills.
Experience:
  • Dimensional data-modelling and database management (preferably of Snowflake), and SQL
  • Data ingestion tools like Dagster, Sling, Airbyte
  • Data transformation tools like dbt
  • Data visualization tools like Power BI and related languages like DAX
  • Data platform development tools and services like GitHub workflows, bash scripts, Kubernetes
  • Python development and related test frameworks
