A leading data center provider in Malaysia is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of critical systems. The role includes hands-on responsibilities for systems like chilled water and HVAC infrastructure. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and over three years of experience in a similar environment. This position emphasizes safety, compliance, and efficiency in maintaining mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within data centres or critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of CHW systems, pumps, valves, motors, and heat exchangers.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and component replacement on CHW systems.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and conduct repair works on chillers and heat exchangers.
• Assist in developing MOPs and SOPs for mechanical maintenance.
