Purpose Statement
This role serves as the central data governance and stewardship lead for MY ORDERS system, supporting the APAC commercial organization and related functions. Key responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy through audits and reconciliations across systems (SAP, SuccessFactor, AWS Data Warehouse and MY ORDERS), managing data access and privacy compliance, and providing first-level user support. The role also involves business analysis – engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and translating them into actionable technical deliverables to support ongoing system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Access management and accounts creation – Support APAC and local teams on user account setup and access management within MY ORDERS system, utilizing both MY ORDERS and ServiceNow tool
- Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering – Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical deliverables to enhance the MY ORDERS system and support ongoing projects
- Data Source Assessment – Evaluate and analyze data from various systems (SAP, SuccessFactors, AWS Data Warehouse, etc.) based on business requirements, ensuring the right data is leveraged for reporting and analysis
- Master Data Management – Define, maintain, and enforce master-data standards for common data objects, such as customer, products, pricing, and contracts. Orchestrate master data onboarding, versioning, and de-duplication processes across source systems
- Data Audits & Reconciliation – Perform regular audits of data from various sources within APAC, ensuring data accuracy through reconciliation between final reports and source systems
- Data Quality Maintenance – Monitor data quality through feedback and metrics, addressing issues and implementing corrections as needed
- Data Usage & Insights – Share best practices for data usage across teams and provide actionable insights to improve decision-making
- Compliance & Security – Ensure data compliance and security, safeguarding sensitive information and providing regulatory guidance
- Industry Knowledge – Experience with enterprise ERP systems such as SAP; familiarity with supply chain & ordering management process is a strong plus
Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in data management and analytics report creation
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, detect anomalies, and solve complex data-related issues
- Experience supporting data-related projects, including timelines, stakeholder coordination, and deliverable tracking
- Knowledge and working experience in Order & Inventory Management
- Proactive in identifying and implementing improvements related to workstream
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders, especially in translating data insights into actionable recommendations
- Experience in Sales Operation is an advantage
- Knowledge of regional data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) and compliance best practices
- Familiarity with Process controls and documentation (e.g., DTPS, SOPs)
- Comfortable working in international, multilingual environments
- Willing to align with APAC time zones
