POSITION - DATA ANALYST
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, clean, structure, and analyze data from multiple internal sources.
- Produce daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports based on management and client needs.
- Analyze departmental, operational, and individual performance to identify trends, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Perform root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive action plans.
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance indicators and ensure data consistency and reliability.
Dashboarding & Data Visualization
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and create clear and intuitive data visualizations.
- Ensure dashboards are aligned with business objectives and decision-making needs.
- Automate refreshes and reporting processes where possible.
Data Automation & Tools Optimization
- Use SQL to query, extract, and manipulate data from databases.
- Leverage Python for data cleaning, analysis, automation, and advanced analytics when relevant.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal reporting tools and performance monitoring systems.
- Automate repetitive reporting and data processing tasks using advanced Excel, Power Query and VBA.
- Propose and implement digital and analytical solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of data outputs.
Performance & Continuous Improvement Support
- Act proactively to identify data inconsistencies, performance risks, or anomalies.
- Support initiatives related to performance optimization, quality monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to data, reporting, automation, and process improvement.
- Benchmark performance indicators and analytical practices against internal and external standards.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Document data sources, KPIs definitions, calculation methodologies, and reporting logic.
- Maintain and update analytical documentation and procedures.
- Ensure transparency and traceability of calculations and dashboards.
- Contribute to the standardization of reporting practices.
Qualification & Experience
We seek candidates with the following profile:
Professional Experiences
- Required experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, performance monitoring, or a related analytical role.
- Experience working with operational, performance, or management data within service-oriented or corporate environments.
Education / Degrees
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A background in insurance, healthcare, operations, or service industries is an asset.
Computer Skills
- Solid experience with Power BI (data modeling, dashboards, data visualization).
- Good knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, or reporting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and collaborative environments.
Languages
- Bilingual English / French (written and spoken).
