Our client, an International Group of Freight Forwarder Company in Port Klang, is looking for candidates for the position of Sea Customer Service Officer/ Executive to join their ICS Department in Port Klang office.

Job Description

The Logistics Customer Service Representative will oversee all aspects of accounts relating to the international transportation of goods and maintenance of the client’s needs. Work with clients to establish detailed profiles and procedures that properly represent their export/import process. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

Responsibilities

• Able to communicate effectively with customers / vendors / Agencies based in many countries across the globe.
• Good communication in written and spoken English & in Bahasa Melayu.
• Enjoys having a challenging job.

• Deliver a high level of service to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Ensure completion of all jobs within stipulated time frame.
• Have good knowledge and understanding of customs declaration procedures, tariff codes and shipping documents (MBLs, HBLs, BLs K1, K1A, K2, K3, K4, K8), tariff codes and customs declarations.
• A good grasp of the various trade concepts and other regulations which pertains to the import and export of goods will be an advantage.
• Ensure Customers are invoiced for all shipment related charges within the time frame given.
• Coordinate & expedite requests, time-specific pickups and deliveries and other special requests.
• Creating shipment jobs and billings using company's system.
• Others duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Certificates or Other relevant field
• At least possess 1-2 years of working experience om freight forwarding industry.
• Working experience with the knowledge of shipping documentation processes and procedures will be an added advantage.
• Required Languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Possess good communication, verbal and written skills
• Attentive to details and good data entry skills.
