Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Additional skillsets required: detailed oriented, problem‑solving skills and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Able to work in a fast pace and challenging environment.
- Candidate to ensure efficient and high‑quality customer service across all channels while driving continuous process improvements and operational excellence.
- Candidate must be able to analyze operational data, trends and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required as the role involves liaising with Mandarin‑speaking customers and agents.
- This position is located in Setia Alam.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all customer service activities related to sea import freight forwarding operations.
- Liaise with customers to understand their shipping requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare and process all necessary import/export documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of freight services.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a prompt and professional manner.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service and suggest process enhancements.
- Prepare and issue freight quotations to customers based on shipping requirements, ensuring competitive pricing and accuracy.
