A local food and beverages company in Kuala Selangor is seeking a Customer Service Representative. The role involves delivering effective customer service, managing complaints, updating orders, and liaising with the customer service manager. Candidates should have strong communication skills in English, Malay, and Chinese, alongside a minimum of SPM or Diploma education. Experience in a similar role is a plus. Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between customers and companies.
  • Work with customer service manager to deliver proper service.
  • Assist with complaints, orders, errors, and account questions.
  • Update and key in customers’ orders.
  • Identify and match caller needs to ensure standards are met.
  • Act as gatekeeper for customer interactions.
  • Handle cancellation of sales returns and invoices.
  • Provide courteous and effective telephone assistance.
  • Conduct stock takes at the end of each month.
  • Follow up on customers’ requests.

Skills

Good communication skills

Basic Microsoft Office knowledge

  • Minimum SPM or Diploma in any field or equivalent.
  • Ideally minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar position would be value added.

  • Well manage stress and tight deadlines.
Responsibility
  • Responsible for acting as a liaison between customers and companies.
  • Work well with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
  • Assists with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing, cancellations, and other queries.
  • Update and key in customers’ order.
  • Identify and match caller needs to ensure customer service standards are meet.
  • To act as gatekeeper.
  • Cancellation of sales return, empty return and invoice cancellation (for warehouse JD).
  • To provide courteous and effective telephone assistance to customers.
  • To handle customers complaints and enquiries.
  • Stock take on every end month.
  • Follow up to ensure that appropriate actions were taken on customers’ requests.
  • To carry any other duties, responsibilities and assignment wherever required, directed or instructed by superiors.
