Job Description

The successful candidate will be a key player in our project delivery team, responsible for developing designs, creating working drawings, and overseeing project construction. You will work in tandem with our main team in the KL office to ensure projects meet owner requirements and the highest industry standards. This role is dynamic, requiring a blend of office‑based design work and on‑site engagement.

• Develop designs and working drawings based on project owner requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate with the main team in KL office and other disciplines (M&E, etc.) to ensure integrated and clash‑free designs.
• Handle authorities submission works, preparing documentation and liaising with relevant bodies to obtain necessary approvals.
• Conduct site visits to assess the progress of construction work, ensuring it conforms to the approved designs and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve design or construction issues that arise during the project lifecycle in a timely and effective manner.
• Prepare and present progress reports to project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards on all projects.
• Participate actively in project meetings, providing updates on design and construction activities.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all design and construction‑related documentation.

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in a design or project role.
• Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural), Architecture, or a related field. (B. Eng degree or above).
• Core Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative is crucial.
• Preferred Knowledge: BIM knowledge is preferable. Candidates with experience in Revit, Navisworks, or other BIM software will have a distinct advantage as we advance our digital integration.
• Languages: Proficiency in Bahasa and English is required. The ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus and will be given more credit.
