Job summary

A global imaging company in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Credit Control / Accounts Receivable Executive to oversee accounts receivable and credit control activities. Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a responsible and proactive Credit Control / Accounts Receivable Executive to manage and oversee the company’s accounts receivable and credit control activities to ensure timely collections, accurate reporting, and strong customer relationships.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor overall Accounts Receivable (AR) and Credit Control operations
  • Organize and coordinate AR reporting, collections, and credit control processes
  • Lead, guide, and supervise the credit control team to achieve AR KPIs
  • Prepare and ensure timely submission of monthly AR reports and bank reconciliation for EFT and unidentified receipts
  • Oversee the issuance of reminder letters for overdue accounts, including schedules and summary reports
  • Conduct site visits, branch support, and investigations when necessary
  • Supervise nationwide branch credit control activities and support services
  • Oversee Help Desk and customer service support related to billing and collections
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, legal matters, and contract amendments
  • Manage bad debt provision, write-offs, and recovery activities
  • Ensure compliance with ISO QMS procedures and improve credit control processes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable / Credit Control
  • Experience in Finance, Banking, Insurance, or similar industries preferred
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Mandarin speaking candidates are encouraged to apply (for dealing with Mandarin-speaking customers)
