Creative Director — Product UI & Visual Design
We are looking for Creative Director — Product UI & Visual Design who will shape and manage the entire product design ecosystem across all WSG business units. This role ensures design excellence and consistency across global markets by establishing and maintaining a unified design system, elevating product UI quality, and leading a high-performing, cross‑functional design team.
This role focuses exclusively on product UI and visual systems, not on marketing or brand advertising. The successful candidate will combine strategic vision, hands‑on design experience, and strong team leadership to build a scalable and globally aligned visual framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multicultural designer across APAC, structured into UI, Graphic, and Template/Component teams.
- Define team goals, workflows, and delivery standards that ensure creative excellence and timely execution.
- Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration across locations.
- Recruit, coach, and develop design leaders capable of scaling operations in new markets.
- Establish clear KPIs and maintain performance consistency aligned with organizational objectives.
- Own and drive the global design system including color, typography, layout, components, and UI frameworks.
- Ensure all products follow a cohesive design language that reflects our company brand identity and enhances usability.
- Oversee the design and rollout of visual assets for multiple regions (Asia Pacific and Latin America).
- Partner with Product and UX teams to translate user insights into refined, user‑friendly visual solutions.
- Continuously evolve design standards to support localization and cultural preferences across markets.
- Define visual principles for key product interfaces, promotional visuals, and in‑app content.
- Build and maintain a repository of graphic templates to streamline design production.
- Oversee design reviews to ensure every output meets global quality standards—modern, clean, and well‑balanced.
- Champion visual excellence through constant refinement, scalability, and creative discipline.
- Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and UX Research teams to ensure designs are practical and implementable.
- Partner with regional business heads to ensure local market adaptation aligns with the global brand framework.
- Collaborate with front‑end developers for seamless handover and technical integration.
- Maintain strong coordination across different time zones and cultural contexts.

- Demonstrated success in building a design system from inception to implementation.
- Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator; familiarity with front‑end principles is a plus.

Leadership
- High emotional intelligence with strong communication and influencing skills.
- Able to inspire and guide creative professionals across different markets and cultures.
- Collaborative, empathetic, and pragmatic in conflict resolution and team management.

- Familiarity with multi‑language, multi‑market UI environments.
