Role Summary
  • We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive based in Sri Lanka / Malaysia to represent our company locally and in South East Asian countries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying fabric importers, garment manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors, and developing strong business relationships to generate consistent export orders from India.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and build a database of potential fabric importers, garment manufacturers, wholesalers, and traders in the country.
  • Present and promote polyester, rayon, and cotton fabric offerings suitable for womens wear and shirting.
  • Develop and maintain strong B2B relationships to secure ongoing orders.
  • Attend and represent the company in local fabric and textile exhibitions.
  • Be open to travelling to nearby countries for exploring new markets and business opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates on market trends, pricing, competitor activities, and buyer feedback.
  • Coordinate with the Indian export team for order follow-up and documentation.
  • Submit weekly sales and lead conversion reports.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fabric sales, especially in polyester, rayon, or cotton.
  • Strong buyer network in local textile and garment industry is highly preferred.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • Comfortable in participating in exhibitions and travelling within the region.
  • Proficiency in English and local language.
  • Knowledge of fabric specifications and export-import practices.
