Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Checks and approves daily routine tasks performed by Junior Executives.
  • Assist Senior Executives in preparing production forecasts and the Master Budget.
  • Oversees expenditures and identifies spending trends.
  • Conducts research and analysis on current market conditions for pricing.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Checks and approves daily routine tasks performed by Junior Executives;
  • Assists Senior Executives and above in preparing production forecasts and the Master Budget including but not limited to check budgets provided by all departments that need to be used in the Master Budget;
  • Assists Senior Executives and above in maintaining assumption data in the Master Budget;
  • Oversees expenditures and identify trends in spending;
  • Analyses and identifies budgets proposed by departments but not utilized, budget overspending and unexpected budget variances;
  • Conducts research and analysis on current market conditions to determine prices for purchased items, services and assets;
  • Tracks and analyses the budget utilized without Board of Directors approval, ensuring these budgets are not transferred to budget utilized with Board of Directors approval;
  • Carried out all other duties or works as assigned to you and/or as directed by your superior(s);
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Economics or equivalent.
  • At least 2 to 4 years related working experience preferably in costing, account/auditing, analysis and etc.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred as the role is required to communicate with foreign employees/vendors.
  • Attention to detail and with a keen sense of business acumen and curiosity.
  • Knowledgeable in use of Ms Office application, especially Excel, capability to handle large amount of data and with analytical skills.
