Ansell is looking for a Costing Executive to join our team in Seremban!

In this position you will play a vital role in costing books closure, standard costs roll up, involvement in budget and forecast preparation, preparation of month end reporting. This role also requires supporting Costing Manager in providing information to Operations Team for Cost reduction/ productivity improvement initiatives.

What your role will be?

1. Update standard costs in D365's products master (Raw Material and Packing Material) and analyze Actual vs Std Cost variances.
2. Set up of master data, review the bill of material (BOM) and routing, set up the manufacturing costing and stock valuation method in accordance with accounting policies and performing validation on the monthly manufacturing costing data.
3. Perform month end closing reporting procedures & ensure timely submission of MIS reporting including Inventory/COGS GL reconciliation.
4. Perform analytical for driver and cause via cost analysis, variable/fixed absorption analysis and
5. manufacturing variances analysis to identify any anomalies.
6. Periodical review production overhead and variances to ensure accuracy of product costing.
7. Support Costing Manager in providing information to Operations Team for Cost reduction/ productivity improvement initiatives.
8. Roll up standard cost of finished goods new items, analyses changes Year on Year.
9. Involve and assist in periodical forecasts and budget/business plan preparation.
10. Responsible for half year and full year inventory count and to ensure it is being conducted properly and timely.
11. Support superior with Fixed Asset management (Timely capitalization, Asset counts etc.)
12. Periodical analysis of potential writes off risk of Stock or Fixed Assets
13. Awareness and compliance with Ansell Safety, Health and Environmental policies as per Safety Handbook.

What will you bring to Ansell?

• Bachelor's degree with major in Accounting or professional Accountancy qualification, in ACCA, MACPA, CIMA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years related working experience in an Accounts Dept. in a medium/large manufacturing Organization and skilled in using personal computers.
• Acquires knowledge of Costing and General Accounting and thorough knowledge of Malaysian GAAP and International Accounting Standards.
• Possess extensive experience with ERP systems and other office suite software.
