  • Manage a team of corporate secretarial staff.
  • Preparation / review of resolutions and documents.
  • Liaise with various authorities on secretarial matters.
  • Maintain statutory books and records.
  • Attend meetings and prepare related documents.
  • Support management as needed.

Job description

  • Undertake corporate secretarial work for PLCs and Sdn Bhds.
  • Act as named co sec for PLCs.
  • Manage a team of corporate secretarial staff in all aspects of company secretarial functions
  • Preparation / review of resolutions and documents for lodgement with at the relevant authorities and monitor compliance with submission deadlines.
  • Advise / guide clients on policies, processes and statutory issues.
  • Liaise with Companies Commission of Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission and all other relevant authorities in connection with company secretarial matters and alert clients on regulatory updates.
  • Maintain and update the statutory books and records in compliance with the Companies Act, 2016 and any other regulatory requirements such as Bursa Malaysia’s Listing Requirements.
  • Attend Board meetings, Annual General Meetings, Extraordinary General Meetings and others as required, and undertake preparation of meeting notice, agenda and minutes.
  • Update and maintain relevant statutory records and documents.
  • New business registration, licensing, work permit applications, restructuring or liquidation of companies.
  • To provide support beyond secretarial work as and when required by the Management.
  • Participate in events, seminars and conferences and develop and win business opportunities with potential clients.
