A leading technology company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sales Manager for Corporate Sales to lead and drive the performance of the Corporate Sales Team. This role involves developing sales strategies, overseeing sales operations, and enhancing customer relationships to meet business goals. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of sales leadership experience, strong knowledge of the IT industry, and excellent leadership and communication skills. The Sales Manager – Corporate Sales is responsible for leading, strategizing, and driving the performance of the Corporate Sales Team to achieve the company’s Gross Profit (GP) targets and business growth objectives. This role focuses on sales strategy execution, performance management, market and competitor intelligence, and revenue optimization.
Lead, manage, and inspire the Corporate Sales Team to consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales and GP targets.
Develop and implement data‑driven sales strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities to ensure disciplined execution and target achievement.
Drive a high‑performance culture through clear goal setting, accountability, and performance monitoring.
Monitor market trends, customer demand shifts, and competitive dynamics within the IT and solutions landscape.
Conduct competitor analysis on pricing, offerings, GTM strategies, and market positioning.
Translate market insights into actionable sales strategies, pricing adjustments, and opportunity identification.
Proactively propose strategic improvements to strengthen the Corporate Sales GTM approach.
Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue projections to support business planning.
Analyse sales performance, margins, and profitability to guide strategic decision‑making.
Develop and execute effective collection and revenue realization plans to support sustainable cash flow and profitability.
Assist in sales budget planning and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients and strategic partners.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and long‑term account growth.
Personally engage in key negotiations, contract discussions, and strategic account development when required.
Represent the company at client engagements, industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions.
Recruit, manage, coach, and mentor sales team members to continuously enhance capability and performance.
Design and support structured training programs to strengthen product knowledge, solution selling, and negotiation skills.
Monitor individual and team KPIs, providing feedback and corrective action plans where required.
Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and professional conduct standards.
Prepare and present regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management.
Report progress on Corporate Sales Team activities, KPIs, and business unit objectives to the Head of Sales.
Work closely with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on strategy, execution, and customer experience.
Support internal meetings, business reviews, and management presentations with clear data and insights.
Undertake special projects, strategic initiatives, or assignments as directed by the Head of Sales or Senior Management.
Minimum Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any field.
At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in sales leadership, corporate sales, or business development.
Strong knowledge of the IT industry, market trends, and solution‑based selling environments.
Proven capability in negotiation, stakeholder management, and strategic account handling.
Results‑driven, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and people management abilities with experience leading and mentoring teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and presentation software.
Possess own transport.
