COVENYANCING LAWYER (1-3 Years Practice)
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA), loan documentation, tenancy agreements, and other related instruments.
- Managing sub-sale and developer project files from initiation to completion, including liaising with clients, bankers, agents, developers, and relevant government bodies such as the Land Office, LHDN, and Stamp Office.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including stamp duty, tax implications, and procedural matters.
- Attending to the signing of legal documents and providing legal advice on property matters.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution and be admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
- 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in conveyancing or litigation practice.
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in legal research, drafting, and document management.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel for court and client matters as necessary.
- Good working attitude.
CONVEYANCING CLERK (JUNIOR)
Job Description:
- Able to work independently on sub-sale loan and SPA documentation.
- Expected to liaise with clients (including banks) and government authorities such as the Registrar of Titles, Stamp Office, LHDN, SMARTBOX, eTanah, etc.
- Experienced in managing conveyancing matters related to retail, project, or commercial loan and SPA documentation with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in handling conveyancing sub-sale files.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Able to complete tasks within given timelines with minimal supervision.
- Good working attitude.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with online portals such as e-tanah, e-stamping, etc.
