A local law firm in Johor Bahru is looking for a legal assistant to join their team. The role involves assisting lawyers with the preparation of Sale and Purchase (SPA) and loan documents, as well as handling projects and sub-sales transactions. Company Overview

We are established in year 1992. We have a branch at Tropika Welcome Centre, Taman Setia Tropika, Johor Bahru.

In line with our firm’s expansion, we would like to invite suitable, qualified, dynamic and self-driven candidates to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • To assist lawyer in preparing SPA and loan documents
  • To handle projects and/or sub sales transaction
  • Mainly focus on documents preparation, filing Form I and return of titles, and hence experience in preparing advise documents are not mandatory
  • Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which the firm may assign from time to time
Requirements
  • Must possess experience in handling projects and/or sub sales transactions (either one is acceptable but experience in handling both would be a good advantage).
  • Must possess experience in preparing SPA documents and loan documents
  • Understanding in conveyancing procedure and familiar in preparing relevant documentation, particularly loan documents.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to details.
  • Work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Dynamic, responsible, good working attitude, multi‑tasking and able to meet the reasonable deadlines.
  • Able to commence work as soon as possible or with short notice will be an added advantage.
  • Possess good communication, analytical & problem‑solving skills.
  • Well versed in spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia and any additional language will be added advantage.
  • Well versed in MS Office (including Excel spreadsheet).
