A construction and engineering firm is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee their Contract Team in Selangor, Malaysia. This role requires managing contract administration, preparing and compiling tender documents, verifying claims, and conducting reviews. Candidates should have at least a Diploma in Building Technology or Quantity Surveying, with preferred experience in geotechnical work. Contract Manager shall manage and oversee the Contract Team
Prepare and compile Tender/Contract document
Perform quantity take-off and measure project data accurately
To attend site valuation & meeting
Preparing progress claim to clients/ Main-Contractors
Verifying sub-contractors claims and preparing the valuation certificate
Assist in Contract negotiation and settlement
Prepare cost variations, final accounts and other relevant reports
Liaise with the Client’s Quantity Surveyor or Contract Personnel
Conduct contract reviews and analysis
Support in resolving contract disputes and claims
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices
Assist in subcontract and supplier evaluation
Participate in contract closeout activities (final inspections, warranty reviews, settlement of outstanding payments, etc)
Any other task assigned by management.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Building Technology/ Quantity Surveying
Experience in contract administration for geotechnical/foundation work would be an advantage
Familiar with pricing for building projects in Sabah and Sarawak would be an advantage.
