Kasagi Labo is reshaping how anime and manga fans connect online. We’re building AnimeOshi, a next‑generation anime social platform designed to bring fans closer to the content, creators, and communities they love. Backed by one of Southeast Asia’s largest seed rounds, we’re expanding quickly and looking for creative talent to help drive our social presence.

About the Role

We're looking for a Content & Video Strategist who can manage our creative direction and produce high‑quality video content — not just plan it, but make it. You'll own the "what" and "why" of our content: setting strategy, shaping storytelling, and creating video that resonates with anime communities across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and X. You'll also be hands‑on with editing, motion graphics, and elevating production quality across our regional teams. This role blends strategic thinking with real production skills — perfect for someone who can spot a trend, know why it works, and actually build the content that capitalizes on it. You'll work closely with our Marketing team and regional creators to grow our brand presence and community reach.

What You’ll Do
  • Content Strategy & Planning
    • Lead the overall content strategy and manage the video production timeline
    • Develop and implement social strategies that align with our brand goals and fan behaviors.
    • Stay up-to-date with platform trends, viral formats, and algorithm changes to keep our content relevant and competitive.
  • Content Creation & Production
    • Produce high-quality video content (both long‑form and short‑form), including motion graphics and dynamic edits.
    • Create, curate, and optimize multimedia content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X (Twitter), and other platforms.
    • Support the Senior Graphic Designer when needed — basic Figma/Photoshop ability preferred.
  • Performance & Optimization
    • Analyze social metrics and audience insights to refine strategies and improve engagement and reach.
    • Identify growth opportunities such as viral hooks, trend participation, and community‑driven content ideas.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Work closely with marketing, design, and production teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
    • Provide guidance to team members on best practices for short‑form content and social storytelling.
    • Identify potential influencer partners and opportunities for viral or creator-based campaigns.
What We’re Looking For
  • Ideally 4‑5 years of experience in social media content creation, especially with short‑form video.
  • Skilled in video editing (long‑form, short‑form, and motion graphics).
  • Familiarity with Figma, Photoshop, or similar tools.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and anime/fan culture.
  • Strong sense of trends, timing, and storytelling.
  • Ability to translate data insights into creative improvements.
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable owning the content calendar.
