Job Description
  • Reviewing user-generated content: Content moderators are responsible for reviewing and evaluating content that is posted on a platform to ensure that it complies with the platform's policies and guidelines. This may include reviewing text, images, videos, and other types of content.
  • Moderating content: Based on their review of the content, content moderators may be responsible for taking action to remove or flag content that violates the platform's policies or is inappropriate or offensive. They may also be responsible for banning or blocking users who violate the platform's terms of service.
  • Analyzing trends and patterns: Content moderators may be responsible for analyzing trends and patterns in the content that is posted on a platform to identify potential issues or concerns. They may then report these findings to the appropriate team or department.
  • Collaborating with other teams: Content moderators may work closely with other teams, such as legal, policy, or customer service, to ensure that the content on the platform is in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Providing customer support: In some cases, content moderators may be responsible for providing customer support to users by answering questions and addressing concerns related to content moderation.
  • Maintaining documentation: Content moderators may be required to maintain detailed documentation of their review and moderation activities, including the reasons for taking action on specific content.
  • Staying up-to-date on policies and guidelines: Content moderators must be familiar with the platform's policies and guidelines and must stay up-to-date on any changes or updates.
