About the role
As a Consultant (Strategic Management) at SIRIM BERHAD, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the organisation. Based in Shah Alam, Selangor, this full‑time position will see you providing expert advisory services to support SIRIM BERHAD’s strategic planning and implementation initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including government ministries, agencies, industry associations, and business partners to enhance SIRIM’s reputation and influence.
• Conduct strategic market analysis to uncover emerging trends and business opportunities that can drive SIRIM’s competitive edge.
• Assist in evaluating potential investments, mergers, and joint ventures by conducting due diligence, financial performance analysis, managing risks, and developing data‑driven business recommendations.
• Support the Head in developing and executing strategies that align with SIRIM’s growth and expansion goals.

What we're looking for

• 11+ years of experience in a strategic consulting or strategic management role, preferably within a consulting firm or large organisation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, business‑oriented recommendations.
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, with a track record of driving successful outcomes.
• Familiarity with strategic management frameworks and methodologies, as well as industry best practices.
• A tertiary qualification in Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Business, Strategic Management, Economics or Technology Management.
