About the Role
As a Consultant, you will take ownership of managing a key module of work or a small project (1-2 member team). You will lead client teams, structuring comprehensive analyses to address critical client questions. Your key objectives will include serving as a role model internally, building expertise with middle management-level client staff, and gradually taking on business development tasks, such as crafting proposals and delivering client pitches.

Mobility
Frost & Sullivan’s Mobility team has consultants across regions and we work with leading participants in the automotive value chain, including automotive OEMs (4W, 2W, CV, OHV), component manufacturers, shared/new mobility companies as well as related sectors (used cars, auto leasing, car rental, auto finance, motor insurance etc.). Though there is a regional alignment, Global Mobility Practice works as one team and consultants do get an opportunity to work on projects across regions.
Responsibilities
- Analytical Skills - Good understanding of industry trends, ability to contextualise these into specific client organization context and be able to have a meaningful discussion on the industry or strategy of the client. Able to create an effective and project-relevant questionnaire/ discussion guide and effectively conduct expert interviews and focus group discussions. Advanced skills in market analysis, strategic analysis, competitor analysis and understanding of financial analysis models. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint & Word. Understanding and use of Growth Pipeline Engine framework; Able to articulate components of the Growth Pipeline Dialog for discussion with clients.
- Interpersonal Skills - Able to plan tasks for a delivery module/ project, develop storyline/ TOC for client deliverables and create templates for final output; guide team members to fulfil as per plan. Able to plan the analysis needs for a specific project/ task, relate that to the information required to be captured and link inferences drawn from data analysis into meaningful results. Able to independently plan for: Quantitative Research, i.e., method, sample size, etc. and Qualitative Research. i.e., templates, sources, etc. Able to clearly articulate content to client and possess effective formal communication skills.
- Client Handling Skills - Develop specific logical sections for proposals and propose robust methodologies to address client requirements with limited supervision. Able to initiate discussion with clients on proposal scope, methodology and facilitate closure. Highly professional interactions with clients and makes himself/herself available for the client.
- Is a strategic thinker; understands how operational activities are vital in supporting the overall strategy of the business
Required Competencies
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational foundation in business, economics, engineering or technology, coupled with a passion for solving complex problems and creating actionable insights for clients.
This role requires someone who is curious, methodical, and able to think strategically—connecting dots between data, industry trends, and business impact. Strong client-handling skills, including communication, adaptability, and credibility in stakeholder interactions, are critical.
- A relevant university degree (BA, BS) in Marketing, Engineering, or technology. A postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) is highly regarded and considered an advantage
- 4 – 6 years of analyst/consulting working experience within a Consulting and/or Advisory services business environment.
- The ability to research and write a coherent story in proper English about a topic is critical.
- A foundational understanding of the Mobility industry, such as industry structure, operational practices, and competitive landscapes.
- The ability to network to create new relationships and to proactively manage ongoing relationships to stay relevant to market intelligence needs of the clients.
- An analytical thought process, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and business level fluency in English.
- The desire to learn public presentation skills in front of an audience and a video camera.
- Confident enough to present your work to a group of peers or a client and defend your analysis in a calm and professional manner.
- A team player who views team collaboration as an important path to professional development.
