Candidate must prossess at least a Degree, Advanced Degree, or master

Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, optionally Mandarin.

Reporting to Senior General Manager/Project Director.

Overall responsible to oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion within budget, time and desired quality.

To take charge of project development including feasibility, planning and study, design management and construction management.

Assist contract team to schedule deliverables and estimate costs including monthly monitoring of quantity of materials delivered/used is on track.

Coordinate and direct all subcontractors and vendors to ensure progress and quality standards are met.

Assist and oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.

Create schedules for construction crew and ensure all areas are adequately staffed.

Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. Propose selection of tools, materials and equipment and track inventory record.

Review the work progress on daily basis.

Preparation of paperwork including daily site report, taking site progress pictures, checking and taking of site measurements, checking of claim’s quantity, and calculation of material’s quantity needed at site.

Analyse, manage, and mitigate risks onsite and handling public relation

Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, contractors and office team.

Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem IT.

Responsibility
  • • Manages all project activities to ensure compliance with the project specifications, drawings, plans, works program, schedules, QA QC, safety and specific requirements as well as to achieve timely completion of the works and within allocated budget.

  • • Manages the workflow of all staff involved in the project team including contracts, purchasing, logistics, construction, project administrative staff, engages and manages specialist consultants as required.

  • • Prepares and monitors the master program, procurement and trade letting schedule and monitors the Construction Managers progress against the critical path.

  • • Obtain all necessary statutory approvals and certifications from relevant authorities.

  • • Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, relevant required documentations and presentations.

  • • Requires visiting site to resolve site issues.

  • • To manage the team of consultants, contractors in periodic meeting, workshop and discussion.

  • • To be competence in Building Contract within its liability, rights and implementation method.

  • • To assist and manage the project within the direction and strategy

  • • To implement any and all relevant policies, procedures and work constructions as so defined in the Company’s Quality Management System.

  • Plan, monitor and control daily works at the project sites and project teams to the successful completion of project according to the quality standard and on time delivery.

  • Responsible for site activities including planning, coordination, supervision works and cost control

  • Coordinate internally to produce product samples, mock-up for clients and ensuring a smooth process of supplying products to the site.

  • Responsible for on-time preparation of master program, all works / project operations carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions etc. and adhere to document control procedures

  • Monitor sub-contractors progress of work, review construction drawings and liaise with local authorities to ensure smooth implementation of the projects

  • Lead and manage Project team successfully carry out projects within budgeted cost and within time. To ensure customer satisfaction with the product and services

  • Develop and train next level of management staff for overall skill of management.

  • Organize, supervise and give evaluation to all down line supervisory staff; provide guidance and identify training and improvement plan.

  • Attend site meetings with site staff, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve technical issues
