A leading data center solutions firm in Johor Bahru is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager. The role involves managing commissioning activities for data center infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 8 years of project management experience, particularly in data center commissioning, and possesses strong organizational and communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu is required, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in data center commissioning projects.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, low voltage, etc.).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end commissioning activities for data center infrastructure projects.

Commissioning Project Manager - Data Center

Lead and manage end-to-end commissioning activities for data center infrastructure projects.

Oversee commissioning plans, schedules, testing procedures, and documentation.

Ensure commissioning works comply with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Coordinate and manage commissioning teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.

Identify, manage, and resolve commissioning issues and risks.

Ensure project quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Support site execution and attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Projects are primarily based in Malaysia, with occasional travel to other ASEAN countries as required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in data center commissioning projects.
• Third-party data center commissioning experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, low voltage, etc.).
• Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English, & Bahasa Melayu (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel for project needs.
