Job description

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turning Machinist to operate, set up, and maintain CNC turning machines to produce high-precision components. The ideal candidate must have good technical skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining jobs.
• Perform machine offsets, tool changes, program edits (if needed).
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot machining issues to reduce downtime.
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily output and quality targets.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
