CNC Machinist (Router / Milling / Lathe)

This position is responsible for reading blueprints, implementing operations on MOT’s, setting up and operating machines that may include CNC VMC’s, CNC lathes, CNC Routers, manual equipment or processes.

High School education

2 years minimum CNC experience

Ability to read blueprints

Ability to properly use common inspection equipment

Speak, read and write fluent English

Key responsibilities:

• Follow traveler and quality system.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Provide input to ensure travelers are updated timely and accurately.
• Perform tasks assigned by leader/supervisor/manager within estimated cycle time.
• Setup jobs, including tool and geometry offsets per setup sheet and toolist.
• Inspect parts to verify blueprint requirements.
• Properly transfer CNC programs.
• Quickly and accurately load and unload parts from machine.
• Run multiple machines when feasible and safe to do so.
• Perform all job duties and functions in compliance with all company safety standards.
• Supports continuous improvement programs.
