Job description

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure & Systems Engineer who is eager to build a career in cloud deployment, management, and administration.

This role focuses on maintaining existing cloud and hybrid environments, performing preventive maintenance, and providing operational support to ensure system reliability, security, and performance.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands‑on infrastructure work, want to deepen their cloud skills, and prefer real‑world production systems over experimental lab setups.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Infrastructure Operations
  • Maintain and administer existing cloud and hybrid infrastructure (AWS, Azure, on‑premise).
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability across servers, storage, and network components.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance, including patching, updates, backups, and capacity checks.
  • Manage virtual machines, security groups, firewalls, load balancers, and storage services.
System Reliability & Support
  • Provide Level 2/3 infrastructure support for production and internal systems.
  • Troubleshoot cloud, OS, network, and application‑related infrastructure issues.
  • Respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement long‑term fixes.
  • Work closely with application, ERP, and BI teams to support business systems.
Security & Compliance
  • Assist fermé in implementing cloud security best practices (IAM, access control, encryption).
  • Monitor logs, alerts, and security events.
  • Ensure backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and tested.
Documentation & Improvement
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and recovery procedures.
  • Propose improvements for stability, performance, cost optimisation, and automation.
  • Support gradual adoption of Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation tools where applicable.
Requirements
Technical Skills
  • Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years' experience in system administration, cloud support, or infrastructure operations.
  • Basic hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiar with
  • Linux and/or Windows Server administration
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
  • Virtualization and cloud VM concepts
  • Understanding of monitoring, backup, and patch management practices.
Nice‑to‑Have (Not Mandatory)
  • Docker, containers, or Kubernetes (basic level)
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) are an advantage but not required to apply.
