Job summary

A technology consulting firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced professional to manage Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift clusters, develop Ansible playbooks, and design hybrid cloud architectures. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of cloud infrastructure experience, preferably in banking, and hands-on knowledge of AWS and Azure. This role emphasizes observability in mobile banking applications, requiring a detailed and technical approach to CI/CD pipelines and compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of current cloud infrastructure experience.

Job description

• Build, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters in an enterprise environment.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automation, configuration, and deployment.
• Design and implement hybrid cloud architecture, primarily across Azure and/or AWS.
• Enable and enhance observability for mobile banking and core banking applications, focusing on both technical and business metrics.
• Architect and manage DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for regulated banking applications, ensuring compliance with strict security and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, optimize performance, and improve system reliability.
• Degree in computer-science, engineering or equivalent
• The right person will be detailed, highly technical, having 5+ years of current cloud infrastructure experience. Demonstrated experience in an enterprise environment, and experience with AWS is an advantage
• Kubernetes & OpenShift: Prior experience with Kubernetes in an enterprise setup, preferably with Red Hat OpenShift, ideally in a banking environment.
• Hybrid Cloud Architecture: Ability to architect solutions in a hybrid cloud setup, with hands-on experience in Azure and/or AWS, preferably within a banking context.
• Observability & Metrics: Experience implementing observability for mobile banking applications and core banking systems, with an understanding of key business metrics, not just technical metrics.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Prior DevOps experience designing and architecting CI/CD pipelines for regulated banking applications, adhering to stringent security requirements
