Job description

Performing ultrasound services in accordance with standard operation procedures, professional’s code of ethics, established safety regulations/measures/guidelines and international patient safety goals to produce images with optimum diagnostic value.

Assist the doctors in providing other related imaging services as per the job requirement.

Performs sterile techniques when necessary.

Ensuring environment safety to all parties (patients, colleagues and visitors) when performing ultrasound procedure.

Managing resources and teamwork to achieve optimum productivity and customer satisfaction.

Ensuring proper care, handling and maintenance of the equipment, accessories and facilities. Report immediately to senior and raise work request when encounter malfunction of the equipment, accessories or facilities.

Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene of the working environment.

Ensure sufficient supply of medical consumables for department usage when needed by ensuring medical supplies are available at all times.

Attending to patient immediately when on duty.

Job Requirements

• Education Level: Diploma or Degree in Medical Ultrasonography
• Working Experience: Minimum 2 years working experience in multi-discipline radiology department in a tertiary hospital
• Required Technical Skill: Sonographic Technique
• Required Knowledge: Radiation Protection, magnet safety & infection control
