Job description
Clinical Instructor (Accident & Emergency)
  • Ensure legibility/ accuracy/ completion of patient's medical records, charts and all other relevant documents.
  • Responsible to allocate beds for in-patients according to their acuity level, medical conditions, requirements and insurance/ company entitlements.
  • Plan and implement high quality patient-centred nursing care for all patients.
  • Coordinate activities with all members of health team within the hospital pertaining to patient care.
  • Provide equal opportunity for all nursing personnel to develop their knowledge, judgement, skills and value to ensure the highest attainable quality of healthcare.
  • Anticipate, prevent, identify and resolve problems/ issues at unit level Report hospital wide patient census, staffing, patient's condition, staff disciplinary issues and all incidents of every shift to Director of Nursing.
  • Responsible for the orientation of new staff.

Requirements

  • Certificate/ Diploma in Nursing.
  • Post Basic Certification in Emergency are required.
  • Degree in Nursing or Master's in Nursing would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience with recent 2 years at managerial level.
  • Possess management capabilities and leadership qualities, at the desired level of competence.
