• Registration with relevant statutory bodies (e.g., IOW-BEM) is an added advantage.
• Experience in both building and infrastructure works.

Job description

Mahajaya Group of Companies – Sepang, Selangor

Conduct regular inspections of ongoing construction works to verify workmanship, material specifications, and quantities against approved standards.

Ensure full compliance with approved drawings and SPA drawings, including monitoring and verifying defect rectification by contractors.

Witness and validate all required testing and technical site inspections.

Progress Monitoring & Technical Reporting

Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of site progress, critical activities, manpower deployment, and significant site events.

Prepare and submit technical progress reports to the Project Manager and Project Executive to support effective project oversight.

Health, Safety & QAQC Compliance

Identify and report unsafe practices, non-compliant methods, or potential hazards by contractors and subcontractors.

Verify that construction activities adhere to Building Regulations, environmental requirements, and all statutory standards.

Ensure contractor practices comply with the QAQC framework and performance benchmarks established by the client.

Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve design discrepancies, technical challenges, and site constraints.

Track and follow up on outstanding coordination issues to ensure smooth execution and prevent project delays.

What We’re Looking For

Certificate, Diploma, or higher qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Building Technology, or a related field.

Registration with relevant statutory bodies (e.g., IOW-BEM) is an added advantage.

Minimum 5 years of experience in landed property development projects.

Familiarity with Q-LASSIC practices is an advantage.

Experience in both building and infrastructure works.

Familiar with AutoCAD, particularly in reviewing and interpreting technical drawings.
