A cleaning services company in Malaysia is looking for a Housekeeper to perform various cleaning activities and maintain a professional appearance. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and inspecting rooms while adhering to health and safety rules. Applicants should have at least one year of experience and relevant certification.
The primary responsibilities include performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and spider web cleaning.
The employee must ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards, protect equipment, and notify superiors of any damages, defects, or vandalism.
Additional duties involve dealing with reasonable complaints or requests professionally, checking and restocking levels of all consumables, and strictly adhering to health and safety rules and company practices.
The role also includes gardening and other activities as required from time to time.
Required skills are good verbal and written communication, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, good time management, and the ability to anticipate, identify, and solve problems.
The employee must also maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
The minimum education required is certification of at least PMR or SRP or its equivalent.
The candidate must be at least 18 years old and not exceed 45 years old.
Malaysian citizens must have a current and valid driver’s license.
The position requires a minimum of one year of experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar role.
Experience with report writing, knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and supplies, and a working knowledge of enforcement policies, procedures, and safety equipment are also required.
