Job description

• Design and analysis: Perform structural analysis, calculations, and design for elements like steel, concrete, connections, and footings.
• Compliance and safety: Ensure all designs meet safety standards, building codes, and legal requirements.
• Project management: Oversee projects from start to finish, which can include managing subcontractors, preparing progress reports, and addressing requests for information (RFIs).
• Collaboration: Work with architects, construction teams, and other engineers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
• Documentation: Create and review design documents, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Site supervision: Visit construction sites to supervise and inspect work, perform tests (like concrete compression or soil compaction), and ensure quality control.
• Technical guidance: Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and site staff.
