As a Civil Site Supervisor at HKC UNITY SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of construction projects in Johor. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the efficient coordination and supervision of all on-site activities, with a focus on safety, quality, and timely project delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including tradespeople, labourers, and subcontractors, to ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks that arise
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the construction site
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and policies to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel
• Monitor the quality of work and ensure that construction activities meet the required standards and specifications
• Assist in the preparation of progress reports, timesheets, and other documentation as required
• Provide mentorship and guidance to more junior members of the construction team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Site Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as a thorough understanding of construction industry regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and coordinate teams
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing site conditions
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications
• A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to project sites as needed
• Certification in construction safety or project management would be an advantage
