Job summary

A reputable construction company in Kota Tinggi seeks a Project Assistant to support the Project Manager in planning and ensuring project compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, along with 3-5 years of civil or marine construction experience. Proficiency in scheduling tools is essential, and excellent communication skills are required. Knowledge of ISO and OSHA standards will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience in civil or marine construction.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and project coordination preferred.
• Understanding of ISO and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in project planning and compliance with safety standards.
• Support in gathering data and creating operational plans.
• Prepare and review engineering plans and specifications.

Skills

Scheduling software proficiency (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

Strong negotiation and coordination skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to interpret engineering drawings

Education

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Oil/Petrochemical Industry Safety Course for Supervisors
