A civil engineering consultancy in Malaysia is seeking a civil engineer to conduct structural design work and produce required engineering documents. Responsibilities include liaising with clients, attending site meetings, and submitting designs to authorities. Candidates should have at least a Diploma in Civil Engineering, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and good communication skills are essential for success in this multifaceted role.
Carry out civil and structural design work to the prevailing building codes.
To produce civil and structural engineering design, calculations, analysis models, reports and drawingsbased on the design requirements and specification set by the Company or Client, including detail design of infrastructure drawings and structure design drawings
Prepare and submit required documents and drawings to the relevant authorities for approval.
To attend pre-consultation with authority for civil design works
Providing technical advice to clients including the selection of appropriate construction materials
Liaise with clients and relevant professionals (ie architects, consultants)
Monitor and inspect works undertaken by contractors
Administer contracts related to civil and structure works
To attend site meeting, site visit, inspections & client consultant meetings
· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil).
· Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
· Minimum 1 years of drafting experience in Autodesk AutoCAD.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills.
· Self-motivated person and able to work independently
· Computer literate preferable with knowledge of structural design software, MS Office and AutoCAD.
· Capable to multi-tasking ie: Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
