Job summary

A construction and engineering firm based in Seremban is seeking a Civil Engineer to assist in technical analysis and project design. Responsibilities include preparing reports, ensuring compliance with design standards, and collaborating with project leaders. Ideal candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• 3-5 years civil/structure related design experience required.
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia is mandatory.
• Competent in Civil 3D or related software will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader/Sub-team Leaders in the performance of their duties;
• Carry out detailed technical analysis, design and modelling for civil and structure projects.
• Prepare comprehensive technical report, tender documentation and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with project Design Criteria/ Client Brief/ Approved Concept/ relevant design standards and office standards;
• Check documentation complies with designs;
• Attend meetings
• Perform submission to the local authorities until obtaining approval of the plan.
• Candidates who has consultancy background and can start immediately are prefered.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil or Structural) or equivalent.
• 3-5 years civil/structure related design experiences.
• Independent and able to lead projects are preferable.
• Team player and strong communication skills.
• Able to work under stress and good attitude.
• Prior experience in designing civil infrastructure and structure projects is preferred.
• Competent in Civil 3D, Esteem or other related software will be an added advantage.
• Candidates must be registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia
