Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team at Nexus EC Sdn. Bhd. in Puchong, Selangor. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the design, analysis and project management of civil and structural engineering projects, contributing to the successful delivery of our infrastructure and construction initiatives. Attending meeting with authority and stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

• Conducting structural analysis and design for a variety of projects, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure
• Preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports to support project delivery
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including architects, project managers, and construction teams, to ensure the successful implementation of projects
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
• Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Participating in site inspections and liaising with clients and stakeholders to address any concerns or queries

What we’re looking for

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the design and project management of civil and structural engineering projects
• Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, ESTEEM, and STADPRO
• Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
• Familiarity with local and international building codes and regulations
• Registered in BEM
