A leading recruitment firm in Malaysia is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to steer strategic vision and manage large scale construction projects across Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of senior leadership experience in the construction industry, a proven record of delivering significant projects, and outstanding strategic and financial acumen. We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead and drive the strategic vision of our client who will be operating Construction Projects across South East Asia region. As a CEO, you will be responsible for setting the overall direction and objectives of the company, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a high-performing and innovative culture.
Our client is Bumiputera company that provides comprehensive advisory, consulting. They are diversified into 10 business lines and operating for large scale projects.
Strategic Leadership: Define and implement long-term strategies aligned with industry trends, client demands, and construction best practices.
Operational Oversight: Lead project delivery, resource planning, and productivity across multiple construction sites, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
Financial Management: Oversee all financial functions including budgeting, cost control, tendering, and commercial performance to ensure profitability and growth.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to construction regulations, health and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, local building codes), and corporate governance policies.
Client & Stakeholder Relations: Represent the company with clients, investors, contractors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring high standards of communication and service delivery.
Identifying new business opportunities and market trends, and positioning the company to capitalise on them
Fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Minimum of 15+ years of senior leadership experience, preferably in the Construction industry.
Proven track record of delivering Large scale projects for commercial and residential buildings/sites.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective business plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
Hands on experience dealing with EPC and MEP projects is mandatory.
Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and resources effectively
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing team.
