Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Chemistry at Secondary level following the British Curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that develop strong subject knowledge and practical scientific skills.
  • Prepare students for external examinations such as GCSE, A-Level and/or IB where applicable.
  • Assess, track and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners.
  • Contribute to the development of the Science department, including curriculum planning and resource development.
  • Support and participate in science-related clubs, competitions, and wider school activities.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching the British Curriculum (GCSE, A-Level and/or IB experience is highly preferred).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in Chemistry.

Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: 18,000–19,000 RM per month, depending on experience.
  • Accommodation: Accommodation is provided.
