Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in any Chemistry-related major preferred.
• Well-versed in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 audit and certification requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chemist.

Responsibilities

• Schedule analytical sample analysis and ensure completion within the required time.
• Provide technical assistance to analysts regarding the selection of appropriate analytical methods.
• Review and validate all data before reporting as final.
• Prepare analytical testing/certificate of analysis reports.
• Assist analysts with handling out-of-specification situations, failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Ensure the technical quality of testing activities performed by analysts.
• Ensure SOPs and QA/QC requirements for routine tasks are followed.
• Perform measurement uncertainty calculations, validation, verification of test methods, and write related reports.
• Study and document new test methods.
• Review and update existing test methods.
• Conduct chemical analysis testing activities upon receipt of samples.
• Complete all testing activities within the required time and document results.
• Report out-of-specification results to the relevant chemist.
• Assist in failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support chemists in data review when required.
• Maintain the technical quality of testing activities.
• Monitor the usage of raw materials and incoming samples.
• Responsible for daily equipment maintenance, including calibration checks, as per SOPs.
• Maintain and update laboratory’s technical data.
• Perform daily housekeeping in the laboratory.
