Job summary

A leading hospitality company in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Chef de Partie responsible for supervising the Pastry kitchen, ensuring high-quality products and professional service. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a hotel or large restaurant and preferably within luxury brands. Knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health standards is essential. Only Malaysian citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this full-time position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' work experience as Demi Chef de Partie/Commis in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards.
  • Experience in luxury international brands is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies.
  • Supervise the Pastry kitchen to prepare high-quality products and ensure professional service.

Summary

You will be responsibleto assist with theefficient running ofthe department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies andbrand standards, whilst meetingassociate, guest and owner expectations. The Chef de Partie is responsible to supervise the Pastry kitchen, in order to prepare a consistent, high quality product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service that supports the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' work experience as Demi Chef de Partie/Commis in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards; preferably with experience in luxury international brands.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
  • Basic Computer Skills in MS Office is preferred.
