A leading technology company seeks a Business Developer for Digital Power Data Center in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves executing strategies for partner ecosystems, achieving sales targets, and collaborating with team members to improve channel development. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in Data Center Channel Sales. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential, along with a proven ability to thrive in multicultural settings.
1. Develop and execute business strategies for Digital Power Data Center partners and ecosystem development in Malaysia. Build a sustainable partnership system and a Digital Power Data Center partner ecosystem. Drive end-to-end capability improvement on behalf of partners to achieve business success.
2. Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to develop the Data Center channel map based on target customers. Regularly update Data Center channel insight analyses, and develop and implement channel development strategies for target projects.
3. Be responsible for the commercial distribution business development of CLA and SMA. Lead and manage marketing-related activities with industry partners and production organizations.
4. Be responsible for developing key channel partners and ensuring partner satisfaction. Organize regular training programs to improve partners' solution capabilities and sales expansion capabilities. Manage partner CSP service capability certification and implement other related channel sales policies.
5. Achieve the sales, market, cooperation, and brand targets of the across various partner types, and build an open, cooperative, and win‑win partner ecosystem.
6. Develop the overall Data Center partner development strategy and business plan, and build and improve the partner system and cooperation model.
7. Develop policies and processes for Data Center partners, communicate these policies and processes, and monitor their implementation internally.
8. Develop, nurture, motivate, and support partners; manage external orders; oversee internal control processes; and ensure the rapid and healthy development of the partner system.
9. Build a partner competence center and training platforms to fully support frontline operations and partner transformation.
1. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Data Center Channel Sales.
3. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
4. Direct sales experience with an account or partner‑sales approach will be an added advantage.
5. Candidates with past experience in established channel‑focused companies related to Data Centers will be an added advantage.
6. Excellent interpersonal and organizational coordination skills.
7. Ability to work in and adapt to a multicultural environment.
