Job summary

A leading technology firm in Johor Bahru is seeking a skilled individual to monitor the central control system and manage production data effectively. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in wastewater treatment and be proficient in Chinese, English, and Malay. This role involves reporting abnormalities, coordinating production processes, and submitting essential documentation. Strong responsibility, meticulousness, and adaptability are essential qualities. Shift work is required.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Monitor the central control system, observe real‑time production data of each process (such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, pH value), ensure parameters are within the process range, and issue instructions to each operation position based on the parameters.
2. Promptly report abnormal data (such as concentration exceeding standards, equipment alarms), notify relevant positions for adjustment or maintenance, and track the handling results.
3. Record various production data displayed by the central control system, organize them into production reports, and submit them to the production shift leader and the production technology department.
4. Be familiar with the process logic of each process, and assist the shift leader in coordinating cross‑process production connections.
5. Be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and daily operation of wastewater treatment, and submit reports to the environmental bureau (Effluent Treatment Engineer, Process Engineer).

Job Requirements

1. A college degree is required, with at least 2 years of experience in wastewater treatment or related fields (exception can be made for those with a university degree in science or engineering).
2. Proficient in Chinese, English, and Malay.
3. Knowledge and Skills: Understand the basic principles of process industries, possess good data monitoring and anomaly detection capabilities.
4. Able to adapt to the working environment of the central control room, with strong coordination and communication skills.
5. Personal Qualities: Strong sense of responsibility, meticulous in work, possess good adaptability and teamwork spirit.
6. Physically healthy, able to adapt to the shift work system.
