Job description
Responsibilities
  • Monitor surveillance: continuously observe security camera footage and alarm systems, promptly investigate and respond to any unusual or unauthorized activities.
  • Alarm system: ensure all outlets are armed after operation hour, respond to staff outlets in the event of alarm triggering or inquiries.
  • Use the CCTV system integrated with the alarm system to detect and deter crime and provide high‑quality evidence for enforcement agencies.
  • Emergency response: respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents promptly and appropriately, taking necessary actions to resolve or mitigate the situation.
  • Conduct on‑site outlet inspections, ensuring compliance with security, surveillance, health and safety standards, and SOPs.
  • Conduct site visits to assess security equipment functionality and procedures.
  • Report writing: maintain detailed and accurate incident reports, documenting all security‑related activities.
  • Ensure all incidents are reported and responded correctly, and that incident reports are completed where required.
  • Address monitoring or server issues within the CCTV department in a timely manner.
  • Provide training to new hires and develop a customized training for each employee based on their job responsibilities.
  • Support the continual development of working practices and maintain excellent knowledge of all sites.
  • Prepare reports and regularly update the Head of Department.
  • Complete any ad‑hoc tasks assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Fluent in reading and writing English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Experience in security, law enforcement, retail, or a related field is advantageous.
